Mollycoddle Beautiful Californian Sampler Led by Eric Schmider, ex-frontman for Skinny Tee, music director for Faith Soloway's Jesus Has Two Mommies, and a member of Russell Chudnofsky's Skypaint: a Pop Opera, Mollycoddle takes a laid-back, White Album, approach to the kind of melodic roots/ country twang that can only be described as a sip of cool lemonade on a hot summer day in the countryside. Mollycoddle combines such delicious melodies with layers of acoustic guitars, real strings, and a wonderful vibe that only the severely suicidal could listen to without feeling uplifted and warm inside.
